You did a great job of sharing through the pictures. It was so refreshing to see as we spent six years in Ghana. I worked with the ELCG developing a Theological Education by Extension Program. Most pastors and evangelists put their hearts and souls into this work.
Hey Aunt Sarah,
Does this advent picture mean that you are gonna hold off on having the baby till Christmas? (you know to make it authentic and all ;-) )
Just Kidding,
Josh
PS: Great picture! How is it possible that Karissa is that tall?
I ditto the “Karissa – tall” comment Josh made. Have you tried putting bricks on her head as she goes throughout her day?! Ghana girl – she’s probably enjoy it. :D Y’all look fantastic; great picture. Miss you.
Hey, yes, Karissa is tall. Too much fufu? How is it that it seems I am looking at Aili and thinking that was Annaka in our place in Tamale 3 years ago???? Freaky. Sorry you didn’t have the baby on my birthday, but I’ll forgive the little one! We miss you and miss being together in Ghana.
Congratulations! You have a beautiful family. We enjoyed looking at the photos and reading all letters. You are always in our thoughts and prayers. God’s blessings to you.
We all ooo-ed and aww-ed over the pictures. They are wonderful. We wish we could stop by for a visit and some squeezes! Wow is Isaac good looking. The girls all look so excited and happy too. Thanks for posting the pics so expediently. Thanks for connecting with us. Love to You all!

What are you feeding him? Fufu already? You must be giving him cream, not milk, Sarah! He’s gorgeous! I still think Aili is Annaka unless they’re together in a photo. It’s bizarre! We miss you guys!

Ok, LOVE that the hat fits him! And…you can’t imagine the memories that the photo of Annaka and the bike brought back of you guys visiting us on our compound in Tamale and us running around chasing Karissa and Kassia on their bikes! Was that seriously nearly 4 years ago???? We miss you.
Prayers and praise for all the Esalas in every country every morning! How much I enjoy watching everyone grow, learn, and especially love in the life that our heavenly Father has blessed you with! Praise Him! sally becker.
Tracey is still there? We have photos of Kassia on that horse, and she wrote a story all about Tracey and Coconut Grove when we returned back from life in Ghana! Such memories.

Enjoyed the photos; and recalled our days with LCMS World Missions in ghana (1967-1979). Our son Jonathan just assumed when we went anywhere, Belva would pack his swimming suit.
I love the name of your homeschool. That’s the most awesome I’ve come across thus far. Thanks for sharing the wonderful pictures and the cool fish story. We love to hear from you. Love and Hugs, Aunt Amy
