She’s baa-ack… and getting over jet lag.

Christina, the volunteer homeschool teacher and all around super person, is back in Ghana after celebrating Thanksgiving and Christmas with her family back home in the USA.  When her plane flew over the guest house where we are staying on its final approach for touch down in Ghana, I told the kids, “That is Aunt Christina’s plane.”  And they started jumping and saying “Yey yey yey.”  Read the rest of this entry »

President elect awaiting inauguration

We have a President elect in Ghana and he will be inaugurated on Wednesday January 7th.  Thanks for your prayers.  We also must congratulate the Ghanaian leadership especially of the losing party for agreeing to hand over power even though they are not happy with the result.They do plan on bringing certain election allegations to court after the hand over of power.

New Year’s Eve in Accra

I was privileged to turn the New Year in a beautiful worship service at St. Paul’s in Kanda, Accra. This service was nearly as big as Christmas.  It started around 9:30 PM and kept building with people until by 11 the place was full. We had a series of 8 Scripture readings tracing the promised one from Genesis 3 through the Old Testament culminating with the birth of Jesus.
